Ukrainian comedian Volodymyr Zelensky is set to be sworn in officially as the country’s new president in the capital on Monday.
Despite a zero previous political experience, Zelensky scored a landslide victory garnering more than 70 per cent of votes in last month’s presidential election.
He ousted incumbent Petro Poroshenko who had been in power since 2014.
No speculation has been made concerning his first speech. The former television actor has said little since his resounding victory on April 21 .
Mr Zelensky made tackling Ukraines deep-rooted corruption as major campaign theme.
According to BBC ,the biggest challenge that the former comedian is expected to face is the continuing conflict with Russia-backed forces in the east.

Voldymyr Zelensky is however “not new” in the role of presidency as he once featured in a TV series where he played the part of Ukraine’s president.
At that fictional inauguration he arrived in a taxi and in his speech refused to make bold promises. Instead he pledged to do his best for the people of Ukraine.
On Monday its happening for real and speculated it may not be that different.
