The chief executive of TV47 Eugene Anangwe Thursday met the digital team to assure them of his support and blessings saying he has confidence in the department.
During the softball conversation which happened at TV47 Digital offices at Union Towers, Nairobi CBD, he said he is ready to support the team in all ways possible so that it can deliver.
The television offices (TV47) are however located in Parklands.
He reiterated his commitment to serve Kenyans with a fresh variety of unique untold stories from across the country.
“Understanding so well that we live in the digital era, we are not being left behind at @tv47ke, we are moving with the trends,” said the CEO.
“Allow me to introduce to you #TV47DIGITAL team. As #TV47KE we are very serious about our quest to be #TheHomeofUntoldStories,” he added.
The former anchor and TV producer at CNBC Africa who had also been a television host at Rwanda TV said the group is prepared to launch in June 2019.
The Mount Kenya University graduate of Mass Media and Communication had also worked at Standard Mediasas a special correspondent.
The Head of Digital Godfrey Omanga added that the group is working to build an agile and vibrant digital brand that is responsive to audience needs.
Unlike it has been reported in some media outlets, former Citizen journalist Johnson Mwakazi is not the chief executive of TV47KE.
