If a photo doing rounds on social media is anything to go by, there is a new brand of wheat flour in the market called ‘tetema’.

The flour, which is named after Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz and Rayvanny hit song ‘tetema’, is retailing for Sh112. This is a throw away price if you compare it with Jogoo maize meal that goes for Sh122.

Given the love that ‘tetema’ song received, tetema flour is likely to fly off the shelf.

People on social media have praised the manufacturers’ creativity.

However, ‘tetema’ is not available in the big supermarkets but it can be found in the mini markets.
