Kenyans have once again taken to Twitter to express their frustrations with corrupt county governors.
This time, they have turned the gun on county bosses.
Using #StopTheseGovernors, netizens want civilians to take action against leaders who use public money to fund their lavish lifestyles.
Some governors have been accused of using public finances to build homes while some have made fun of the leaders who get arrested and dictate the condition of the arrest.
The leaders have been shamed for launching sub-par projects that don’t have a place in this day and age.
Some directed the frustration to Kenyans who lament on social media about poor leadership but are quick to recycle the same leaders come ballot day.
In response to the trending hashtag, Council of Governors took to Twitter to announce that the issues raised will be dealt with on the State of Devolution Address which will be held on 6th June 2019.
