In a Twitter post, the National Police Service instructs that only a selected list of VIPs and emergency services vehicles will be allowed to break traffic rules.

The directive further lists the VIPs as the President, The Deputy President, The First Lady, Chief Justice, Attorney General and a few others as the ones entitled to road clearance.

Kenyans have welcomed the move terming it a relief from the constant unnecessary traffic jams caused by VIP vehicles.
