A report by Psychology Spot has found a link between an individual’s walking style and his/her personality.
While there are other factors like age and health that might influence someone’s walking style, a study carried out in 2017 proves that the manner and speed in which an individual walks provides robust evidence in part of their personality.
People who walk fast are considered highly outgoing, extroverted, open and enjoy high energy levels.
They are also said to be more confident, courageous and have their life sorted out.
On the downside, fast walkers usually expect other people to keep up with them so they may be a little impatient.
Slow walkers, on the other hand, are said to be more cautious, self-centered and introverted.
They are more relaxed in life but most of them tend to walk with their heads down to show their shyness.
Interestingly, the study found out that slow walkers are at a higher risk of getting into an accident than fast walkers.
