Sonko accuses Kenyan media of mudslinging

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has decried what he terms constant tarnishing of his name by the media.

In a lengthy Facebook post, Sonko unleashed bile directed towards the media in Kenya, accusing them of always working to drag his name in the mud.

He cited an article published by The Star where the newspaper claimed he his HIV positive.

Through his lawyer Cecil Miller, Sonko lamented that the article not only portrayed him immoral person suffering from AIDS but also as someone who is a fugitive.

He also cited numerous cases where the media has published negative stories about him in order to paint him in bad light to his supporters.

Sonko stood firm, assuring his supporters of unwavering strength and productivity even with constant jabs from the media.
