Strathmore beats Harvard to clinch international competition

Strathmore University School of Law has made history by becoming first African team to win the John H. Jackson Moot Court on World Trade Organization (WTO) Law.

The team, which comprised of three students, namely Michael Wambua, Kandalla Maleehah, and Catherine Penda, managed to beat the prestigious Ivy League Harvard Law School in the final of the Moot Court.

The Dean, Strathmore School of Law congratulated the winning participants on his Twitter handle.

The 17th edition of the global John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition was held in Geneva Switzerland, formerly known as the European Law Students Association Moot Court Competition on WTO Law.

The participants of the competition are required to prepare and argue whether as the complainant or respondent in front of a judging panel which comprises mostly of law experts.
