Murang’a Women Rep Sabina Chege has denied claims that she cried because people from her backyard booed her.

Sabina said she was overwhelmed with happiness after she heard what President Uhuru Kenyatta had done for her county.

President Kenyatta’s administration had delivered goods worth millions of shillings to Murang’a County during that event.

Ms Chege was booed by the audience on Friday during the Embrace rally at Kimorori grounds.

The Women Rep dared anyone to produce a clip which shows her being booed by the audience.

“We received vaccination machines worth Sh36 million and cheques for women and youth worth Sh25 million. I was overwhelmed by this show of love that I cried, ” she said.

Sabina said this on Sunday at Kahatia Primary School where she was spearheading a free medical camp.

“Leaders need to concentrate on promoting development agendas rather than spreading baseless rumours,” said Ms Chege.
