Zimbabwean players have reached an agreement with the government to play against Egypt after they threatened not to take to the pitch

The game scheduled for 11:00 pm on Friday night.

The players had insisted that they will only go to the field if they get paid their arrears.

The main dispute is the money that was meant to be paid to each player after the Warrior’s friendly against Egypt a few weeks ago.

They also demand payment of their daily allowances and appearance fees for the AFCON tournament.

Zimbabwean football body, ZIFA is making frantic efforts to curb the looming crisis which is detrimental to the nation’s campaign at the continental showcase.
