However not all businesses need a lot of money start, here are the simple businesses you can start with little or no money at all:

1. Real Estate Agency
The simplest way to start is to hang out in local Facebook groups where people are looking to rent and observe where there is maximum demand.

Then go to that area and get in touch with landlords who have a to-let sign.
Offer to get them their tenants and go back to the Facebook group and reply to those who are looking for a place to rent.

2.Fact-checking and research
You can help major magazine and many websites to check and re-check every fact and source in their stories.
It only requires a laptop and a telephone.

3.Sports or activity clinics
Parents are always looking for enrichment activities for their children and are more than happy to pay you for a day—or several—without their kids.

4.Tutoring
Tutoring is also one of the businesses you can start for less than Sh10,000. It used to be more difficult to market your tutoring services, but online platforms make it easier than ever.

5.Homemade Soaps
If you can read and follow the directions of an online soap-making tutorial, you can gain some basic knowledge of the soap making craft.
It involves relatively few materials and tools.

6.Grocery Delivery
There is a market for small timers, as evidenced by the many shopping services that are online now.

You might start by approaching residents in a housing complex, promising delivery just two days per week in order to process as many orders as you can at once.

7.Logo Design
If you’re artistically inclined, designing logos is a relatively simple business to start.
You can service the high-end, doing very unique logos, or provide low-cost designs that start from templates and are modified to suit the client.

9.Content Writing
If you have some writing skills then you can start as a writer/ blogger for hire.

You can use LinkedIn to reach out to content managers and head of marketing and offer to work for them and show your portfolio which can be a simple Google doc URL with some of your Fitness/Yoga Trainer.

Millions of youngsters and their parents are confused about what to do next. You can research relevant career options for youngsters and what it takes to succeed in each area.

If you live in an affluent area, you can become a personal assistant to the super-busy, and super-rich.
