Sabina Chege has now come out to explain to netizens who have continuously trolled her why she cries in public.
The woman rep for Murang’a County said she cried in public because its a way of expressing human emotions.
“I am human and I am not the first one to cry in public. Even Deputy President William Ruto cried in public,” said Chege.
She also questioned why netizens only troll women who cry in public but are okay with men who do the same.
“Why didn’t you ask Ruto his reasons for crying in public?” questioned Chege.
The lawmaker said this on Friday during The Wicked Edition, a show in Nation TV.
Chege has been in the media for a while now because of shedding tears in public.
The first time was when she cried during a forum held in Murang’a that was organized by the team Embrace Kenya.
She also cried in public on Thursday when Embrace Kenya visited the mother of Baby Pendo. Baby Pendo was shot dead during the riots that took place after the 2017 general elections.
