Kenya’s Amputee football team qualifies for the final

Kenya National Amputee Football Team has qualified to play in the finals of the Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA).

The finals will be played in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Sunda, where Kenya will take on Rwanda.

The team qualified after defeating Zanzibar 3-2 in the semifinals on Thursday.

Rwanda edged out hosts Tanzania to qualify for the Sunday’s finals.

A week ago, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko flagged off the Kenya National amputees football team at City Hall as they were heading to Dar as Salaam for the regional East and Central Africa cup tournament.
