Senegal Coach Aliou Cisse is furious with Harambee Stars Coach Sebastian Migne after the French man questioned the mental preparedness of the Lions of Teranga.
“We know that mentally, Senegal are a weak team,” said Kenya’s coach when asked how he thought his team will fare against Africa’s top-rated team.
In a sharp rebuttal, Cisse replied stating that Migne should be more concerned about his squad.
“Harambee Stars coach (Sebastien Migné) should mind his business and not bother himself with the mentality of Senegalese players,” he said.
Earlier on Cisse had revealed that his team would take an attacking approach to ensure they win the match against Kenya.
Migne on his part declared his confidence in the Kenyan team.
“We know it will be difficult playing against the number one country in Africa. But it was difficult as well when we came up against Ghana during qualification and we won. We can do it,” said Migne.
Senegal and Kenya are set to lock horns at 10:00pm local time in a Group C decider. Harambee Stars only need a draw to qualify to the last 16.
