Controversial blogger Rober Alai has made a comeback after his release from prison with an intriguing Twitter post.
In the post, Alai seemed unapologetic about being arrested for posting pictures of deal police officers in the Mandera attack last month.
“We wont beg and we won’t hide. Our men and women in uniform will have to be treated with dignity whether dead or alive,” said Alai.
Alai added that it was time to ‘terrorize the oppressors’.
The blogger was arrested on June 19, 2019. He was charged with two counts of treachery and disclosure of information against the law before Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.
On Tuesday, he was released on a cash bail of Sh300,000 or a bond of Sh500,000. The matter will be heard on August 8, 2019, and be mentioned on July 16, 2019.
