A few weeks before his death, former Safaricom CEO, Bob Collymore’s concern was corruption, Safaricom’s future and his family.
Collymore spent close to 4 hours explaining to President Uhuru Kenyatta on what he should focus on in terms of his legacy as Kenya’s president.
The father of four was also concerned about the worrying trend of corruption in Kenya. He insisted that it’s a battle that had to be won. Collymore discussed how to tackle the collapsed moral fiber of our society.
Also in the former Safaricom CEO’s mind was the future of a telcom company he had led for close to 10 years – Safaricom.
“So all I want to know is, what is the future of this company. What is it’s future, and what is going to happen,” President Kenyatta recalled Collymore’s words.
Collymore explained to President Kenyatta “his vision, his hope, and his dreams,” for Safaricom.
