A Swiss group of hotels is investing in an Sh800 million four-star resort in Sagana.
The investment is a partnership between FEP Holdings led by its group Chairman James Kaguchia and Swiss International Hotels.
The resort will be constructed approximately 100km from the capital city along Nairobi – Nyeri highway.
The former Centum executive James Kaguchia is also the director of Kenya Orient Insurance.

The hotel is expected to create 150 jobs for the locals
“We are looking to open other properties in the country and have several in the pipeline. We believe in this market and have the vision to become one of the top five hospitality and leisure groups in Africa,” said Swiss International CEO and President, Henry Kennedie.
This will be the second investment in the region by the Swiss organization after they first invested in Swiss International Hotel Resort, Mt. Kenya in Naromoru.
FEP Holdings kicked off construction of the resort in 2014 and put out an international tender in December 2018 to get a partner to run and maintain the resort.
