The Nairobi County Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, has been appointed as a senator at the Grand Assembly of the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF).
Passaris will represent Kenya in the Global Co-Founders committee of the Grand Assembly.
She was appointed alongside 12 other senators and high commissioners from Uganda, Egypt, Gambia, Nigeria, Argentine, Canada, Japan, Peru, Philippines, UK, Uruguay and USA.
“The inclusion of these countries in WBAF provides a wide range of opportunities for start-ups, innovators and high growth businesses and opens doors for economic development,” Angel Investor Review reported.
The representatives selected are leaders especially in the business and political sphere. This is to help identify the needs of the people so as to know where best to invest.
