‘‘It was 5 am, these thugs stormed the church and stabbed worshipers who were in kesha before killing this guy who was just passing nearby…they stabbed him before escaping as church guards tried to pursue them,’’ Ouko told Ghetto Radio news.

The thieves are also said to have escaped with an unknown amount of money and music equipment.

The victims continue to receive treatment at various hospitals.

In December 2018, a Catholic priest from Kinoo was murdered on his way to a bank from the sanctuary.

Father Njoroge was first attacked by four men who were riding on motorcycles who obstructed him at a rough road, forcing him to pull over, and demanded a bag from his car.

One of the thugs then brandished a pistol and shot the deceased on the chest through the windscreen of his vehicle.

Witnesses said the thugs then quickly opened the car and removed the bag and a mobile phone then fled on their motorcycles.
