2019 is the year when many influencers in the media and online space have proclaimed that they are expecting babies.
Below is a list of five of them:
- Yummy Mummy
The most recent one is vlogger, Joan Obwaka, commonly known as Yummy Mummy. The vlogger announced that she is pregnant with her third born on Monday through her Instagram page and YouTube channel. Yummy Mummy will give birth in January 2020. Together with her husband of two years, Zach Munyi, they have two other kids, Mukeni and Ethan. However, the influencer bore Ethan before she met Zach.
2. The WaJesus Family
Milly and Kabi wa Jesus, who refer themselves as the WaJesus Family on the YouTube and Instagram pages, are also expecting a child.
The two announced the news to their fans about four weeks ago. This will be their first child even as they clock their second year this year.
3. Shiko Nguru
Known for her family YouTube channel, Green Calabash, Shiku Nguru is expectant with her third child. She revealed the news about five months ago.
Together with her husband, Rama, they have two kids, Ella and Lamu. However, Shiko got Ella while in a previous marriage. In her pregnancy announcement post on Instagram, Shiko said that this will be her last born.
4. Diana Marua
Diana Marua, announced that she was pregnant eight weeks ago while they were on a vacation in Dubai with her husband, Bahati.
This will be their second child together after their firstborn girl, Heaven Bahati. However, Bahati had another child before he got married to Diana called Mueni.
5. Tanasha Donna
A week ago, Tanzania Bongo artist, Diamond Platinumz announced on his Instagram page that he and his newly-found girlfriend, Tanasha Donna are expecting a boy.
Tanasha’s pregnancy, who is a radio presenter at NRG radio and a recording artist, has elicited both hate and love from netizens. Diamond’s ex, Zari Hassan has even gone ahead to warn Tanasha about Diamond terming him as a deadbeat dad.
It is Tanasha’s first pregnancy, but the fourth for Diamond. The tetema-hit-maker has two children with his Ugandan ex-wife Zari Hassan and one with Tanzania’s Hamisa Mobetto.
