A laptop containing major issues of the Thirdway Alliance Party and other gadgets belonging to the party’s secretary-general, Fredrick Okango, have been stolen by six armed people.
According to the party chairman, Dr Ekuru Aukot, the six-armed people raided the party offices Thursday night. The unknown people also shot at the ThirdWay party SG.
According to officers on the ground, the armed people got through the doors of the Lavington-based office and found party officials doing their work.
“They have shot at our SG @fokango who ran and hid inside one of the offices,” Aukot tweeted.
This comes only a few hours after the party’s flagship initiative, Punguza Mizigo, hit the threshold signatures of 1.2 million.
