The Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and Treasury PS Kamau Thugge are among the suspects who were taken to Milimani Law Courts ahead of their hearing set for 8am.
Rotich and Thugge are among the 10 suspects who spent the night in custody on Monday.
The Treasury CS and PS were picked from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations by a van which was followed by a DCI convoy to Pangani Police Station to pick the other suspects.
The suspects then proceeded to the Milimani Law Courts and are being held in the court cells even as they wait for their hearing to begin.
The 10 are among the 28 whom the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji ordered for their arrest on Monday morning.
They are on the spot for illegalities in the awarding of the Arror and Kimwarer dams tender to a broke Italian firm, CMC Di Ravenna.
“The investigations established that the government officials flouted all procurement rules and abused their oath of office to ensure the scheme went through. Many procurement procedures as stipulated by the law for such projects were ignored and the law was circumvented to ensure that CMC Di Ravenna got the contract,” DPP Haji told journalists on Monday.
