Governor Mutua gives all Machakos hospitals triage kits

Every government health facility in Machakos County will now get a triage kit to ensure that the services provided are ‘quality’ and ‘verifiable’.

The triage kits, which are dubbed ‘Sanduku La Daktari’, were launched by the Machakos Governor, Dr Alfred Mutua.

“These triage kits have equipment to test blood pressure, blood sugar and temperature at the first stage of treatment at all our health centres,” the governor wrote on his social media pages.

This makes Machakos the first county in Kenya to ever acquire such medical kits.
