Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to tighten the fight against corruption.
Speaking in Gatanga constituency in Muranga on Thursday during the burial of Peter Kenneth mother, Rahab Wambui, Mudavadi told the president there is a need for him to make more arrests to prevent looting of public funds.
“I understand Mr President that things are getting harder, but I would like to tell you don’t relent, make more arrests and count on our support,” said Mudavadi.
The former vice president added that Kenyans have high hopes in the head of state’s effort of fighting corruption.
He said soon the country will stabilise and Kenyans will see the change.
Uhuru, on the other hand, said that no leader should dream of finding a shortcut in acquiring money because the long arm of the law will soon catch up with culprits.
