Mugabe’s health fears mount as Mnangagwa promises to stand with him

Former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe’s health has caused a lot of anxiety among the people of Zimbabwe and across the world.

A few days ago, Mugabe’s son shared his ailing father’s photos in a Singapore hospital where he was being treated.

President Emmerson Mnangagwa confirmed that Mugabe was flown out of the country for specialized treatment in Singapore.

Mnangagwa said he has been in touch with the family and there is no need, to worry because the 95-year-old former president was responding well to treatment.

“Mugabe has not been feeling well, he is doing well though and we expect him back in the country soon,” said Mnangagwa.

On April 2, Mugabe was also flown to Singapore, where he stayed for 29 days before going back to Zimbabwe.

The president Mnangagwa promised to take care of the ailing former president and offer the necessary assistance to his family during this period.

In 2011 WikiLeaks reported that Mugabe was suffering from prostate cancer.
