Detectives seize cocaine worth Ksh 11 Million in Malindi

Detectives have nabbed cocaine worth Ksh 11 million in Malindi County.

According to DCI, the cocaine was weighing 3 kilograms and was confiscated from a house in Barisheba, Kisauni today in the afternoon.

“Two prime suspects, Juma Suleiman aged 47 and Bashur Omar aged 59 were arrested,” the DCI reported on Twitter.

According to the DCI, the detectives were following a tipoff and raided the residence where they found a suitcase with assorted clothes that had a false bottom.

“In the false bottom, we found a whitish substance, which upon testing turned out to be positive for cocaine,” said the DCI.
