Stomach ulcers are painful sores which are found in the stomach lining. They are also called gastric ulcers. The stomach ulcers are a type of peptic ulcer disease whereby they affect the stomach and small intestines.
The major causes of ulcers are long-term use of anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin, ibuprofen, or naproxen and infection with bacteria.

Any stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori are treatable. But once it is not treated, leads to serious problems, like internal bleeding and stomach cancer.
