Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo has responded to Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s Sunday insults directed on her via social medial.
The governor accused Milly Odhiambo of ‘pretending’ to defend women, yet she allegedly refused to acknowledge the kid of a fellow woman who was a second wife of a prominent senator — who had died.
According to Sonko Ms Odhiambo supported Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr, Michael Musembi, Rose Wanza and Kethi Kilonzo who were opposed to their step-mother Cyrose Nduku sharing properties left behind by Mutula Kilonzo.
Rethink her role
Nduku wanted to be appointed as a beneficiary of her husband’s estate, a move that was opposed by Mutula Kilonzo’s children who said she knew little about the assets and liabilities of her late husband.
Sonko added that the vocal MP should rethink her role in the society and stand for the truth without minding who is involved.
Sonko said Ms Odhiambo was acting as if she dislikes making love yet she is one of those people who seriously crave for it.
The Mbita legislator said Sonko is fond of demeaning women sexually adding that the governor should mature up and support women.
Ms Odhiambo alleged that Sonko’s unnecessary drama brought about a series of events that resulted in Okoth’s body not being taken to his rural home.
Millie Odhiambo was opposed to Sonko revealing about Ken Okoth’s alleged son during Okoth’s memorial service and further initiating the matter to be settled in court.
