Kenya’s Harambee stars have on Sunday been kicked out of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) by Tanzania’s Taifa Stars in a penalty shoot out at Karasani Stadium.
Kenya scored only once whereas Tanzania hit the back net four times, knocking out Harambee Stars.
The game, which was the return leg, had ended in a barren draw.
Clifton Miheso was the one who scored the only goal for Harambee Stars. Erasto Nyoni, Paulo Nyanganya, Gadiel Kamagi and Salimu Hamis converted their kicks to give Taifa Stars the victory.
Tanzania will now battle it out with Sudan in the final qualifying round.
