BBC journalist Larry Madowo has been on the receiving end of the anger of some Americans after he pointed out the violence in United States of America (U.S.).
“I went to sleep on news of a mass shooting in El Paso. I woke up to news of a mass shooting in Dayton. This is only my first weekend living in these United States,” said Larry on Twitter.
Madowo’s statement was not taken well by some Americans who asked him to go back to the country he came from.
“Hey, you don’t like it here you can leave,” said John Siebert on Twitter.
Larry is in the U.S to attend Columbia University in New York City where he was admitted to study business and economics on a scholarship.
He is one of those who were chosen as beneficiaries 44th Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Business and Economics at the Columbia Journalism School.
