First Lady Margaret Kenyatta shows love to Jamaican babies, mothers

First Lady Margaret Kenyatta on Tuesday visited teenage mothers at Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation (WCJF) in Kingston, Jamaica.

Accompanied by Lady Allen Patrick, Margaret said teenage mothers should be readmitted to schools to give them a chance to complete their education.

“Early pregnancies should not mean the end of education for adolescent mothers,” the First Lady said.

She also said vulnerable girls across the world need to be supported so that they can achieve their dreams.

Margaret was speaking to teenage mothers who are undergoing a special school program that reintegrates them back to school.
