Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder, Victor Wanyama is set to join Wolverhampton Wanderers from Tottenham Hotspurs as the transfer window nears closure.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo expressed the club’s interest of paying £11.5 million for Wanyama to land at Molineux Stadium.
According to Santo, the Tottenham midfielder has a lot of stamina which he thinks will seal Wolves’ midfield.
“Victor Wanyama possesses a lot of power and his signing will bring out the best in the likes of Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho,” said Santo.
Wolves settled on Wanyama after failing to meet AC Milan high price for Franck Kessie who was their intended signing.
Tottenham’s signing of Ndombele, Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Eric Dier who seems to be given a priority in the starting lineup worked against Wanyama.
His long-time stay on the bench last season also compromised his stay at Tottenham.
