Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) student who was caught last month trying to access State House through the fence told the court he was on a mission to save Kenya’s jobless youth.
Brian Bera said he was acting on the behalf of the jobless youths who have no platform to express their frustrations.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Francis
He told the court to bar his father from interfering with his life because he is an ‘adult who can take care’ of himself.
“I am 25 the court should stop my father from interfering with my life because I am an adult,” said Bera.
The chief magistrate directed that the 25-year-old be held at a mental facility under his father’s care for two months before appearing in court on October 9, 2019.
