Kenya has recorded 52 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1,161.
Over the same period, the Ministry of Health was able to test 2,567 samples. The cumulative figure of tested samples in the country now stand at 55,074.
The new cases are distributed as follows; Nairobi has 23 cases while Mombasa and Busia counties have seven cases each.
On a positive note, five patients have recovered and discharged from hospital, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 380.
The country has again reported zero deaths, as death toll stands at 50.
