Kenya has recorded 679 new COVID-19 cases out of 6,590 samples taken within the last 24 hours.
The total number of Covid-19 cases now stands at 28,104.
Out of the 679 cases 400 are males while 279 are females.The youngest is a one year old while the oldest is an 81-year-old.
743 people have recovered from the disease ,685 are from Home-based care Programme while 58 from various health facilities bringing the total number of recoveries to 14,610.
CAS Mwangangi: We have lost 18 patients today, bringing the total cumulative number of deaths to 456. Among them was a senior KEMRI employee Mr. Kamau Mugenda, who will be laid to rest today.
