Kenyans have demanded justice after the death of Cyclist Caleb Omwoyo near the Safari Park Hotel on Friday, September 18. He was hit by a Kenya Mpya Bus and died on the spot.
The 22-year-old was a well-known sportsman and he was loved by many for his charisma and love for life. He was a member of the RDX Riders club
Caleb was riding back home, at the time of the accident and that is where he met his death.
Reports say that the Kenya Mpya bus overtook him at a high speed and came to a sudden stop just a few meters in front of him to drop passengers.
By the time he realized the bus had stopped it was too late for him to hold his breaks. Unfortunately, he hit the bus from the back with all the force he was riding with.
