Joy at KNH as medics reattach a boy’s hand which was chopped off by chaff cutter

The Kenyatta National Hospital on Wednesday,21 October conducted a successful hand reattachment surgery on a 6-year-old boy from Kiambu.

Benevolence Iticha had lost his arm on October 4, 2020. His arm was chopped off by a chaff cutter.

Luckily, medics at KNH reattached the hand which was chopped off by a chaff cutter.

More than 20 medics attended to him and his surgery lasted for 10 hours and it came out successful.

Iticha is now recuperating at the hospital waiting to be discharged soon.

This is the 6th surgery of its kind conducted at KNH.
