What TV47’s Mombasa bureau means to the Coastal people

TV47 will on Friday, October 30 launch its Mombasa bureau, complete with an ultra-modern studio.

Boasting itself as ‘The Home of Untold Stories’, TV47 will use the Mombasa bureau as the nerve centre of providing extensive coverage of the Coastal region and bringing special and unique untold stories from Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, Lamu, Taita Taveta, and Tana River Counties.

The youngest and fastest-growing TV station in Kenya has already tapped into the sublime skills of veteran journalist Lolani Kalu and promising youngster Mariam Mwacharo.

Lolani has already started a journey through the six counties to bring to attention the plight of locals who, for long, have been neglected. Also, Lolani is set to bring you untold, unforeseen stories that will give you chills starting that Friday.

The youthful and vibrant Mwacharo has already hit the ground running, covering news events in Mombasa, Kilifi, and Kwale Counties.

Perennial problems that have been ravaging Coastal residents such as land ownership, marginalisation, substance and drug abuse, food security, just to name but a few will now be brought to attention.

TV47 viewers have every reason to smile as the station is promising a vast range of unique content.
