Shujaa ready for new season, players tested for COVID-19

The Kenya Rugby Union has begun medical and physical assessments of national team players as preparations for the upcoming season intensify.

According to a statement released by KRU, about 29 Shujaa players were subjected to the medical tests Tuesday evening with the Lionesses expected to follow the same process in due course, this in line with Covid-19 prevention protocols.

Some of the Shujaa players called for the exercise have already played for the world 10s series including Andrew Amonde, Collins Injera, Willy Ambaka, Oscar Ouma and Oscar Dennis who turn up for South African based club SX10.

Below is a list of the 29 players asked to show up to begin the assessment.
