A police officer and his wife were on Sunday found dead in their house in Lunga Lunga area, Kwale County.
In what police are suspecting to be a murder and suicide case, the bodies of police officer Tonik Okoth Oloo and his wife Lucy Atieno, 28, were found with gunshot wounds.
Kwale County Police Commander Joseph Nthenge says that they suspect Oloo killed his wife before killing himself.
Oloo, who is from the Criminal Intelligence Police Unit, was attached to Lunga Lunga Police Station and was leaving with his wife at the premises’ quarters.
A Ceska pistol and three spent catridges of 9mm bullets were found at the scene.
