A man who was released early from prison is now accused of killing three people.
Lawrence Paul Anderson who hails from Oklahoma, United States, now faces three counts of first-degree murder, one count of assault and one count of maiming.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Anderson killed his 41-year-old neighbour, Andrea Lynn Blankenship, and removing her heat with intend to cook it.
According to AP News, Anderson reportedly brought the heart to the uncle’s house and made a meal out of the deceased heart.
He then attempted to serve the unwonted stew with potatoes to his uncle- Leon Pye, 67, and aunt.
“He cooked the heart with potatoes to feed to his family to release the demons,” a search warrant presented in court read.
Anderson then killed his uncle, wounded the aunt. He also killed the couple’s four-year-old grandchild.
This is happening weeks after he was released from prison where he was serving a 20 years jail sentence on drug charges.
A sobbing Anderson confessed to the murder charges in court on Tuesday, February 23.
“I don’t want no bail, your honour. I don’t want no bail,” he said. The judge, indeed, declined to give him bail.
Anderson was released early from prison in January as part of a mass commutation effort. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2017.
