Caleb Kositany has been removed as the Jubilee Party Deputy Secretary General.
In a press release dated 1st March, 2021, Kositany was relieved of the party duties “with immediate effect”.
The Soy MP has been replaced by his Cherangany counterpart Joshua Kutuny.
It appears as if Kositany, a strong Deputy President William Ruto ally, saw it coming. Last week, he had said that, “I don’t know about DP Ruto but for me, I will be vying on a UDA Party ticket in 2022.”
While appearing on KTN News, Jubilee Vice Chairperson David Murathe promised Kositany that he will be removed from the party position.
During the same interview, Murathe further hinted at a possible impeachment motion against DP Ruto.
Murathe alleged that there is a plan to kicking out all Jubilee MPs campaigning for United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party candidates in the forthcoming by-elections.
“…about the DP, I think the eviction party of the hustler mansion is loading. That one you can take to the bank.
Very soon there will be an eviction party from the hustler mansion in Karen, I can assure you it is loading. However it happens, they are getting out,” Murathe said in an interview with KTN News.
