    A man has been jailed for 100 years by a Nakuru court after he was found guilty of defiling five children.

    David Karega gave the children aged between four to seven years Ksh10 in an attempt to secure their silence. The offence happened in Rigogo Village, Rongai.

    Prosecutor Moses Macharia presented 11 witnesses who testified that Karega had defiled the girls.

    The accused was found guilty in the case that has been going on since September 2019, before Molo court Principal Magistrate Yator.

    “A person who commits an offence of defilement with a child aged eleven years or less shall upon conviction be sentenced to imprisonment for life.” as stated in The Sexual Offences Act No 3 of 2006.
