British supermodel Lola Crichton Stuart has been snapped holidaying in Lamu.
Lola is the youngest daughter of John Colum Crichton-Stuart, 7th Marquess of Bute, and distant cousin to the Queen of England.
Though foreign holidays have been banned in a bid to contain the coronavirus pandemic, Lola, reports the Daily Mail, flew to Kenya to attend an art fair.
The 21-year-old was spotted at Peponi, which British newspapers equate to Chateau Marmont at Sunset Boulevard, California, U.S.
“Lola was here for weeks and posted Instagram pictures, cleverly not tagging her location. But if you’ve been to Lamu you will recognise some of the scenery. She’s not in Scotland, that’s for sure,” a mole is quoted by the Mail as saying.
The Lamu art show was hosted by society artist Vanessa Garwood. It brought roaring business to the laidback island as “hotels were full with British socialites enjoying the Covid-free atmosphere.”
