    KCPE candidate dies while giving birth in Nyandarua County

    A KCPE candidate from Pesi Primary school, Aberdares sub-county, Nyandarua County, has died after delivering a baby.

    Nyandarua County Commisioner Benson Leparmorijo says the pupil was rushed to Pesi Dispensary before seating for her Science paper which was scheduled for 8:30am

    She successfully delivered a baby boy at around 10am but started bleeding profusely, prompting the nurses to take her to Nyahururu County Referral Hospital.

    Unfortunately, she succumbed to the loss of blood. Her body has been moved to the hospital morgue waiting autopsy.

    Her newborn was also transferred to the Referral Hospital and placed in an incubator.
