- The National Management Committee resolution dated 8th February 2021, and
- The Political Parties Dispute Tribunal ruling dated 26th March 2021.
“Based on the decision of the party as contained in the [aforementioned] documents and in line with Section 14(5A) of the Political Parties Act, 2011, the office has removed the name of Hon. Isaac Mwaura Maigua from the Jubilee Party membership register pending the adoption and ratification of the same by the National Executive Committee in accordance with Article 13.1.12 as read together with Article 13.4 of the Jubilee party constitution,” reads the statement from the Registrar of Political Parties.
Mwaura and six others expelled
Jubilee Party through the National Management Committee (NMC) had on February 8 expelled six nominated senators on grounds of insubordination and gross misconduct.
The six were Isaac Mwaura, Mary Seneta, Falhada Dekow Iman, Naomi Jillo Waqo, Victor Prengei, Millicent Omanga and Christine Gona.
Senators Mwaura suffered a blow on March 26 after the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal dismissed his application seeking to stop his removal from the party.
