Jubilee Party has invited members who are interested in vying for the Kiambaa Parliamentary and Muguga Ward seats to submit their application before May 2, 2021.
In a statement dated 27th April 2021, the party invited members of the Jubilee Coalition to apply after the IEBC set the dates for the Kiambaa and Muguga by-elections on July 15, 2021.
“The Jubilee coalition hereby notifies its members of the coalition who are interested in the Kiambaa parliamentary seat and Muguga ward legislative seat to submit their applications. They should be received by the party director of elections in the prescribed form on or before May 2, 2021,” the party said.
The interested applicants are required to download and print the application form and fill it as duly instructed.
The application forms can be sourced from the party headquarters in Pangani or downloaded from the party website.
Jubilee Party statement on Kiambaa, Muguga by-elections
Muguga ward legislative seat fell vacant following the death of Eliud Ngugi at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral, and Research Hospital due to Covid-19 complications on March 16, 2021.
The Kiambaa parliamentary seat also fell vacant following the demise of Paul Koinange in relation to Covid-19 complications too on March 31, 2021.
