A woman who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death in Kabete, Kiambu County, before fleeing last week has surrendered at Nakuru Police Station.
Ann Waithera was reportedly entangled in a love triangle with Joseph Mwangi, 29, and another man who reportedly assisted her to flee.
The incident happened at Gikuni village, Kabete Constituency last Thursday. Police in Nakuru are yet to reveal more details of Ann’s arrest but it is understood that she walked into the station of her own volition.
Following the Thursday killing, Kabete Police Commander Antony Maina said, “Please, let us consider other ways of handling disagreements in households instead of taking the law into our own hands and killing each other.”
Waithera was transferred to Kikuyu Police Station and will be charged in court on May 5.
