French Midfielder Ng’olo Kante was jammed by jubilant Chelsea fans following his world class performance against Real Madrid in their 2-0 win in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals.
The 28-year-old yet again scooped the man of match award after he delivered another energetic, all-action display in the final third unlocking Real Madrid defense for both Chelsea goals.
Ngolo Kante’s Mini Cooper
After the full-time whistle, he emerged out of Stamford Bridge on his white MINI Cooper driving slowly through the crowd. His choice of vehicle however is in stark contrast to the lavish and expensive supercars his team-mates all drive.
The vehicle, MINI Coopers is valued at £16,000 (KSh2,380,113) making them a completely different option to the Bentleys and Ferraris we have become accustomed to seeing Premier League stars in.
Chelsea fans eagerly waited for Kante after he successfully bossed the Real Madrid star studded midfield comprising of Toni Kross, Luka Modric and Casemiro. The trio midfield made history from 2015/2016 to 2017/2018 season after it won three consecutive Champions league titles.
Ahead of Wednesday’s kick off, Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel also praised Kante’s qualities saying, “The guy is a top guy, and he is the guy you need to win trophies, obviously, that’s why we’re so, so happy he’s here.”
The former Leicester City man has so far won two Premier League titles, the world Cup, the FA and the Europa League. Kante will be looking to add the Champions League prestigious medal to his trophy cabinet on May 29, 2021 when Chelsea battle Manchester City in Istanbul.
