A police officer who collapsed on Thursday night while at his home in Nairobi is receiving treatment in a Nairobi hospital.
The police officer has been admitted to the high dependency unit in a private hospital where he is responding well to the treatment.
Although the high ranking police officer‘s personal assistant dismisses claims that his boss is hospitalised, multiple sources confirm he is indeed hospitalised.
“The boss is doing well. I’m just from visiting him at his home,” the personal assistant told The Standard.
The senior officer has reportedly been in and out of office as he seeks medical attention.
“We hope he will be discharged either today (Saturday, May 15), or tomorrow (Sunday, May 16),” a senior official told The Standard.
